Cookies

Facades of Nice uses no advertising cookies, no audience-measurement cookies and no third-party trackers. Only two strictly functional cookies may be set:

Name: lang

Purpose: Remembers your language choice (French or English). It is only set after you click the language selector, and is only used to offer you the same language on your next visit.

Lifetime: 1 year. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings; every page stays reachable at its own address, with or without this cookie.

Name: PHPSESSID

Purpose: Protects forms (Contact page) against fraudulent submissions. It is only set when you display a form.

Lifetime: the browsing session (deleted when you close your browser).

The Map page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap: that service receives your IP address like any site you visit, under its own policy.
